Job Title: Business Development & Operations Assistant

About the Role:

 

We are looking for a dynamic, driven individual to join our team and help us grow two exciting business. This role is highly versatile and will require you to wear multiple hats. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves taking on new challenges, and has a get-it-done attitude. If you are a proactive problem solver who can handle anything thrown your way, we want to hear from you.

 

Responsibilities:

Immediate Tasks:

  • Contact landlords and check venues for potential business locations.

  • Reach out to investors and maintain communication.

  • Help setting up a lab

  • Assist in hiring additional staff.

  • Manage social media accounts and create engaging content.

  • Research and apply for grants to secure funding.

Future Tasks (Within a Couple of Months):

  • Attend and represent the company at various events.

  • Handle administrative tasks and ensure smooth operations.

  • Order chemicals and consumables necessary.

  • Plan and organise events to promote our business.

  • Develop and nurture an ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • No specific educational requirements.

  • Prior experience is not necessary, but a proven ability to take initiative and deliver results is essential.

  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Leeds.

  • Own a car and be willing to travel to different locations as needed.

Skills:

  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in social media management and content creation.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
